Drama

Crew is what i wake up for everyday. It Encompases all of my friends. we work hard a tedious together whether we like each other or not. each person in crew i consider family. and for those people in crew they know that i treasur eall of my friends more than my family. Crew has helped me in so many ways. it has helped me distinguish who my true friends are, it has givin me new friends, and it has helped shape me into what i am today. Crew in its self is an experience. it is a place where a group of kids, from all personalities, come togeher to create a wonderous event. We wrokd at least 3 times a week, building sets. as they slowly come up our bonds with each other tend to grow and become strong. i cant seem to stress who this small club helps bring kids of all groups together. without crew i would have never become the great friends i am with my buddy Mike Schweyen and Pat Gwardinski. they are awesome. especially of theyre knowledge of the simpsons. Stage Crew forms such a tight bond between us that it feels as if we lose on eof us when someone graduates. before each Performance we all gather and pray. We dont however pray to god. We pray to whoever it is that we believe in. During prayer the toughest of people are brought down into tears. i myself remember when i was too afraid to cry for what others thought of me. then my friend pat said something i will never forget. he said, "when your on the outside looking in you ask yourself, why do they do that? but now that i am on the inside, i could never envision myself leaving." that made me break down and because of him i cried on a friends arm and i credit him for me meating a wonderful person. After Months of work and 2 to 3 shows Strike begins. Strike is when we have looked back at all our hard work and then ... we tear it down. i never have been able to sum up crew very quickly. it is not a club but an experience. if you come to my site and are not involved with drama i tell you to talk to me, no matter who you are. i can always use another friend.

I Know a Place

I know a place,
a place where snow falls warm but still hlds the true, white, mysterious beauty in all of its regressiveness,
where the infinate bland of people evlolve into a secluded state of ecstasy
and regret, nothing but the reality they leave behind,
where the rage of anger is only directed at the negative things in life,
where hypocriticalism is accepted and all of ones world's conflicts are welcomed in and are to be introduced to an area of mercy and love....

Alice was a great play and also the most recent. it has so effected me in a positive way. i have met a great person as a direct result of this play. for those of you in drama you know who. anyway the lead, Alice was played by Carly Matkovich. another lead Uncle Charlie, played by my friend with the hair Mitchel Owens. and everyone else who doesnt matter like pat who did great playing the Mad-Hatter and Adrienne who was the Seductive Bunny, Lindsey the anal Red Queen, Matt- CC, Big Gumpy Ed the coo blue catipillar, Angie the slightly mental queen, sara well umm Egg, brad playing the roll he was created for-Dum, and all the shadows are nothing with out the awesome help of.......The CREW.

the picture really cant do it justice but this is the set for Alice! it took forever to build but it was awesome. unfortuneately it nolonger exists:)

This was the winter play at our school. it was horrible the way the set was put together but the actors/actresses were great. yeah there were a few **** ups but it turned out great! this is the set or was the set as it was being built.
